Even though I probably won’t be going on any long vacations this year due to the arrival of our baby girl, I still have my eye on a few pieces that would look just as good on a summer day trip or weekend getaway. From laidback beach totes to whimsical white dresses like these, there’s no doubt I have quintessential summer style on my mind. The following pieces I’ve rounded up for this post are currently in my shopping cart.
Madewell straw hat – Straw hats are an essential summer accessory and the wide brim on this one will provide plenty of sun protection while the multi-weave design gives it a chic look.
MinkPink eyelet dress – White dresses are the epitome of summer fashion and this eyelet style is so beautiful and romantic (it also has the prettiest tie back detail). 
Birkenstock Arizona sandals – I’ve really gotten into Birkenstocks lately. Not only are they super comfy, they add a casual-cool vibe to everything from biker shorts to denim and dresses. This neutral pair is next on my list (if you look closely, the buckles are a pretty rose gold!)
Pistola muscle tee – Move over, basic tees: muscle styles are here to toughen up the game. I love the clean silhouette of this one and it’s under $60.
Pistola Denim cutoff shorts – Mid length and longer shorts are back in a big way this summer and I’m here for it. I love the length and light wash of this cutoff style (would be perfect with those Birkenstocks I shared above!)
Loeffler Randall woven tote – If you’re looking to splurge on a summery bag that will last for years to come, this woven leather tote would be such a great investment. The leather is much more durable than straw and can easily go from the pool/beach to dinner.
