Today the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially open to ALL Nordstrom cardholders! To be honest, this year most of the items on my wish list were sold out by the time I had access to shop the sale. It seems to get more popular each year, so it’s definitely best to shop as early as you can. Despite the fact a lot of items I had my eye on are gone, I was able to snag some great pieces that will definitely be fall wardrobe staples.
Ribbed cardigan – I usually always pick up a Topshop cardigan during the sale because I love their cozy, oversized fit. I chose the olive color this time around because it will look beautiful with all the shades of brown I wear each fall.
Suede booties – I was so happy to scoop up these suede booties because they were the #1 pick on my wishlist. They have such a luxe look but they’re under $90! I really hope they look as good in person as they do online.
Faux leather blazer – This blazer was my splurge piece from this year’s sale. It’s actually faux leather but looks very realistic. I’ve always wanted a leather blazer and can see myself wearing this with a tee and jeans or throwing over dresses.
Suede moto jacket – I’ve heard so many great things about this suede jacket which has been a popular sale item for years. I fell in love with this season’s beautiful taupe color and decided to give it a try. I think it will look fantastic with black or gray jeans.
Duster cardigan – I’m a huge fan of long cardigans because they add such a glam touch to any outfit. This one is made of a lighter cotton blend so it will be perfect to wear now and into early fall.
