Spring Style: Two Ways to Wear a Beige Faux Leather Skirt

March 16, 2020

I typically like to keep my blog a light and happy space, but I can’t help but first touch on COVID-19, the subject that’s probably on most of our minds right now. We’re in a strange, strange limbo of trying to stay at home as much as possible yet lead semi-normal lives, and it’s a delicate balance for many of us. Things are changing so much every day with the latest stats and news updates and for those of us who thrive on routines (definitely me), it can be very anxiety-inducing. I don’t want to turn today’s post into one entirely dedicated to Coronavirus, but I also want you to know that we’re in the same boat, and struggling to make sense of the situation.

Today’s post is one of my favorite kinds, a 2-for-1 style session. When it comes to selecting wardrobe staples, I’m all about versatility, and I knew I could find tons of ways to wear this beige faux leather skirt for spring. It’s by one of my favorite brands for on-trend pieces that are budget-friendly (most are under $150). I’m styling it both casual and polished to give you all an idea of how versatile it is, whether you decide to dress it up or down.

Casual

A denim jacket, white tee and sneakers give this skirt a laid-back vibe that’s great for the weekend or running errands. If you want a clean look, I suggest wearing it with all-white sneakers which are also very on-trend for spring (shop lots of other sneaker options here).

Dressy

For a monochromatic look, pair the skirt with a white blazer and blouse. These snakeskin print booties add some pizazz and tie the neutral hues together.
