Last week, I was saying how the temps have been above normal, but it’s definitely feeling like January now: we’ve had a cold snap over the last few days and it’s been nearly in the single digits at night. While I love the cold weather months, I don’t actually like to feel cold so all I’ve been wearing lately are my thickest sweaters, heaviest coats and cozy fur. It’s also the perfect time to share all the details on this faux fur coat that I just got because it’s such a good one!
After searching high and low for the ultimate black faux fur coat, I finally settled on this one for several reasons:
- the faux fur looks incredibly realistic and unlike a lot of faux material, it’s actually warm
- it looks great worn open or cinched with a wide belt (see this example)
- the fit is oversized and long enough to wear with leggings and cover my backside
