Since our home is all decorated for Christmas and I’ve done most of my gift shopping, I figured it was time to start posting holiday looks on the blog, too. In case you didn’t see, I polled my Instagram followers last week and the majority said they preferred to see casual holiday outfits over party looks so I’m making an effort to share as many as I can from now through New Year’s. Since I’m a new momma and spend a lot of time at home, casual is more of my ‘real life’ style so I can totally relate. But don’t worry—if you want party looks, there will be some of those as well!
Who doesn’t love a cozy blanket scarf when the temperatures dip? I wrote a post a few years ago all about how to style blanket scarves (check it out here) and it’s still the most popular post on my blog. This scarf is an old favorite and I love styling it for the holiday season with a pop of red. This outfit is even more cozy thanks to a tunic sweater and stretchy faux leather leggings.
