A Stylish Diaper Backpack & Lila Blake’s Three Month Update

March 5, 2018

Lila Blake turns three months old this week so I wanted to share a little update on today’s post. The weather was beautiful here in Amman over the weekend so we headed to the park to take some family photos. Unfortunately, Lila wasn’t in a smiley mood, but maybe we’ll have better luck next time!

One thing we learned early on as new parents is to be prepared for baby emergencies wherever we go, and that usually means a diaper change! This diaper backpack is an awesome way to tote around our essentials (diapers, wipes, change of clothes and a pacifier). There’s tons of room inside and you can also strap it to the handle of your stroller. Most diaper bags aren’t the most attractive but camo print gives this one a stylish edge, plus my husband doesn’t mind carrying it since it isn’t too girly. Besides this backpack, there are more cute styles and options you can check out from the same brand here.Lila turns three months old on March 7th and I feel like in the last few weeks she’s suddenly started changing SO fast. She’s basically still a newborn so obviously most of her likes/dislikes are pretty basic, but we’ve noticed a few things she seems to really enjoy and some she doesn’t!

Loves:

  • her Wubbanub pacifiers
  • warm baths
  • listening to stories
  • sleeping on Daddy’s chest
  • seeing Mommy and Daddy in the morning (that’s when we get the most smiles every day!)

Hates:

  • dirty diapers
  • getting cold after bath time
  • tummy time (even though she’s getting so much stronger!)
  • when she loses her pacifier

I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I am OBSESSED with Madewell tees. You can’t beat the price of $20 or less and they are great to wear alone or layered with jackets/sweaters. I love this new muscle tee style with the cuffed sleeves (also ordered in white!)Hope you all are having a great start to the new week and as always, thanks so much for reading!
