Hi everyone, and I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! As you may have seen from my Instagram photos, we spent a few days on the Amalfi Coast after leaving Naples on Saturday morning. It was a last-minute getaway, and one I am so glad that my husband suggested! We stayed at a lovely B&B in the tiny town of Praiano, which is located between Amalfi and Positano. Although we’d originally planned on spending most of our time in Positano after having heard so many great things about it, we actually much preferred the peaceful atmosphere of Praiano (Positano is very small and VERY crowded with tourists). I think I may have to write a completely separate blog post about our trip on my travel page because there are so many beautiful photos to share. I’m already planning our next vacation since this one wasn’t nearly long enough to explore everything!
I recently ordered this fringe sweater from LOFT during one of their online sales and have already worn it multiple times. The fabric is soft and breathable and the fringe is actually more snag-resistant than it appears to be; plus it’s a little longer in the back, which is perfect for tucking in the front. For a fresh and summery look, I wore it with all white when we went to lunch in Praiano. 
I mean, is this view postcard-worthy, or what?! The water on the Amalfi coast is unreal: crystal clear and amazingly blue! This was our view from the restaurant where we had lunch–I would have been content to sit there all afternoon with a book and a bottle of wine, but since we were short on time this trip, we had to keep moving.
We were recommended to try the regional dish of pasta with a type of calamari local to Amalfi, along with lemon shrimp risotto, both of which were incredibly flavorful.
For dessert, we couldn’t decide between the homemade lemon profiteroles or tiramisu, so we just shared both (an excellent idea if I say so myself!)
This photo was taken looking down on the area where we had lunch, and my husband may have slightly risked his life to get the shot–he insisted on taking it, so I held his legs while he perched precariously on a stone wall along the highway several hundred feet up (crazy, I know!)
