Today’s look is created from a mix of winter colors: gray, black, and a touch of slate blue. This oversized cable knit poncho is just about the coziest piece ever and definitely one of the best purchases I made this season. It can be worn from the first chilly fall days (shown here) through the winter season–just add layers! Speaking of clothing, I’m starting to (mentally) organize my wardrobe for the move to Italy and it looks like heavy winter coats won’t be necessary when we get there. Apparently, Rome’s winter season is a lot milder than ours here on the U.S. East Coast–it’s hovering in the mid-50s there, which is about 20 degrees warmer than a typical winter day for us. I’m totally happy about that because with all the new spring styles popping up, I’m ready for a change. The countdown till our move is now only three weeks–things are getting real!
