Leopard is often thought of as a fall/winter print, but it can make an unexpectedly fresh statement for spring when worn with a pastel color like mint. This particular shirt works especially well with pastels since the print is a bit smaller and more muted in color than most leopard pieces. I chose accessories to reflect the golden, tan, and black hues of the animal print.
I can’t say enough good things about these cotton pique shorts from J. Crew (also here). The pleated front and flattering cut make them perfect with a dressy pair of heels or pretty sandals. I also own them in white and will definitely be looking for other colors when they go on sale.
