We are home from Florida and adjusting to the severe drop in temperature! We spent 6:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. yesterday in the car, which was exhausting to say the least. I have to admit, my husband’s idea for listening to audio books was a success. Listening to a good book really does help pass time on the road. I recommend trying it on your next long road trip or flight.
These are my favorite blog photos from our trip. The black and white stripes combined with wool and leather create a winter twist on traditional nautical style. Everything really stands out against the stark winter riverscape. I found this floppy hat at Target. It came with a chain detail which I wasn’t too crazy about, so I snipped it off. I’m going to check a few craft and fabric stores for some new trim to dress it up a bit.
