Once again, my black shift dress (also shown here) has served as the ideal backdrop for a bold accessory . This vintage Burberry scarf belonged to my husband’s grandmother and was given to me by my mother-in-law. I love how the paisley print pops against the plaid for a unique twist on this classic pattern. It is an oversized shawl scarf, which can be tricky to wear unless I fold it in half first, as shown here. I am currently on the hunt for a pretty brooch to hold it in place for a different look.
