The rich burgundy red hue really does conjure the image of a glass of merlot. I’m all about shades of red lately and have found myself favoring burgundy pieces a lot. I’ve been looking for the perfect 3/4 sleeve shift dress for awhile now, and Old Navy nailed it with this one. It’s made of a super stretchy and comfy thick ponte knit fabric. At such a great price, I bought it in two more colors. My theory is when you find a piece which really works for your body, you better snag more colors while it’s available! I was super excited to break out my fur vest for the first time this season. Its neutral tones really stand out against the red palette. For an example of a burgundy/gray pairing, I swapped the vest for a python print scarf. Are we seeing an animal print theme here? 😉
