I love shorts and tights. Maybe it’s because I loved to wear them together when I was a little girl. Nonetheless, I had to try these plaid wool shorts from Piperlime. It’s hard to find a pair of shorts that are so well-suited for cold weather. Just add tights and booties and you have a look that’s both comfy and cute. I wore a denim blazer and statement necklace to make it a little more chic. The emerald necklace really reflects the green in the plaid. For a more casual weekend look, you could just wear an oversize sweater minus the blazer (forgot to take photos of that option–future post!)
