One thing I was determined to accomplish this fall was a family photo shoot that would include my husband, who is always behind the lens (though those photos will be kept private since he prefers not to be on my blog). We decided to try our hand at taking the photos ourselves using a combination of my husband’s photography skills, a tripod and a friend who snapped a few of the four of us. There were plenty of outtakes but I’d say we did pretty well! Please excuse me while I try not to tear up looking at these sweet photos of our girls, who are growing by the second.
The girls and I wore a combination of warm red, rose, and beige shades, and all of us wore western boots. For more of my tips on how to coordinate outfits for family photos, check out this post. 
Family photos are never easy (especially with a four month old), but we managed to get some images I’ll cherish forever.
